Summer is almost over. August weekends were very busy, on land and on the water.

June is almost over and we have had a few nice weekends at the Island, We cut down one of the willow trees that seemed questionable in interigaly. We now have a large pile of firewood to burn.

Today the weather was in the 80's before the Storms came in. Got to the Island and finished setting up the new water pump. After tighting a couple dripping fittings, it was up and running.All left to do is a spring clean-up and the island is ready for the Summer.

I have Posted a couple of pictures from 2002 of our Island. Winter is here and it a very snowy December. Our Christmas Party was at Jack's in St. Clair Shores, we had a good turnout of club members and friends. Don was voted for Laketrotter of the Year.

Thanksgiving has come and gone, the weather been cold and some ice been forming on the canals, but not enough for ice fishing yet.

It's Novenber and had some nice weather, so I had to take the boat out one more time. Stopped by the Island and everthing looked ok.

The Laketrotters Clubhouse closing was the first weekend of Oct. The cottage was winterized and all tables and chairs were put away for the season. Only a few members plan to stop by while duck hunting during Oct. Plans for the Christmas Party are under way.
